Classification of oil and gas-bearing territories of Russia and the structure of the oil and gas industry of the regions

The article is devoted to the qualitative assessment of state oil and gas industry in Russian Federation based on context administrative-territorial units. It was realized that data provided by different sources differs due variation calculation methods used, lack detailed regional reports from foreign agencies shows novelty research. In current research projection administrative borders territory gas-geological zoning used. To determine degree dependence economies industry, about mineral resource base subjects were compared with geography location processing enterprises.
